Saints Row scores a new region and update for all and its first DLC, all in one go
Deep Silver and developer Volition have announced that the first expansion for Saints Row is out now, bringing a new area, new missions and more to the game, with more still to come. Check out the reveal trailer for The Heist and the Hazardous below.
The expansion, which is included in the Expansion Pass or to buy on its own, has an all-new story to discover, here is the official description from Deep Silver.
So what’s the deal? You return to play as the Boss, and you’re out for revenge! Insufferable movie star Chris Hardy employs you to take on a million-dollar assassination hit, but when he double crosses you and leaves you for dead, the Saints hatch a plan to take revenge on Hardy and his career – and whether you succeed is up to you.
This is just the first, with two more expansions set to release over the Winter months.
But this update doesn’t just add in the expansion and all its story, no all players regardless of their access to the DLC, will score the new region, Sunshine Springs. This new area includes new activities and shops for all to enjoy whether you’re an Expansion Pass holder or not.
