The Borderlands movie gets its Moxxi, Marcus and more, as the cast expands

Lionsgate and Gearbox have been announcing actors for the Borderlands movie for a while now and they just rolled out a few more, which is more or less, completing the cast.

We have known for a while that actors such as Cate Blanchett and Jack Black were in the movie, as Lilith and Claptrap respectively, but here is the full list, as it currently stands.

• Cate Blanchett as Lilith

• Kevin Hart as Roland

• Jamie Lee Curtis as Dr. Patricia Tannis

• Jack Black as Claptrap

• Ariana Greenblatt as Tiny Tina

• Florian Munteanu as Krieg

• Haley Bennett as Unknown

• Édgar Ramírez as Atlas

• Olivier Richters as Krom

• Janina Gavankar as Commander Knoxx

The new additions announced this morning are:

• Gina Gershon as Moxxi

• Cheyenne Jackson as Jakobs

• Charles Babalola as Hammerlock

• Benjamin Byron Davis as Marcus

• Steven Boyer as Scooter

• Ryann Redmond as Ellie

• Bobby Lee as Larry

That is one packed cast, of course, the question remains, can director Eli Roth take that cast, combine it with the world we know and tell a story that doesn’t leave newcomers behind, or treat fans like idiots. It is going to be a balancing act, so fingers crossed.
