Xbox have announced, at least in North America, that a Starfield Xbox Series X console… wrap is on its way. The Xbox Wraps are a way for players to customise their consoles, without having to buy a new console each time or paint their existing ones.
There are three sets to be released at launch, which is October 18th for Starfield and the price for each is $50 USD or roughly $78 AUD. If you have ever used a hard case for a tablet device, where the cover wraps around or an iPad/Surface keyboard the material looks to be about the same.
Below is the Starfield print, which matches the headset and the controller that are already available, if you want to pick them up still, check out our Bargain Guide for the game.
In addition the Starfield design, two camo prints are being sold at launch, they are the Mineral and Arctic camo, the blue and grey respectively below. The same colour prints already exist on the controller side of things, meaning you can enjoy having a matched set, like below. Both the Camo prints are launching on November 10th in America, with the Mineral camo launching in Europe on the same day, local release information has not been announced.
The wraps were designed specifically for Series X and have a custom, precision fit. Every detail was taken into consideration to ensure your console performance is preserved– vents are all clear, and small feet were added to the bottom of the wraps to ensure air can flow freely through the console. Made with solid core panels that are layered with high-tech fabric finishes, the wraps are folded around your console and secured with a hook and loop enclosure. The interior of the wraps are printed with silicone designs that keep the wrap in place.
